Position: SAP MDG Functional Consultant
Experience – Minimum 6 years in MDG
Job Location: 50% on-site (Riyadh) + 50% off-site (Remote)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP MDG processes and configuration, and will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP MDG solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure the effective management and governance of master data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP MDG Configuration & Implementation:

  • Lead and support the configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP MDG solutions in alignment with business requirements.
    Configure MDG settings, workflows, and governance processes for master data domains (Material, Customer, Vendor, etc.).
    Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP MDG solutions.

Master Data Governance:

  • Assist in establishing governance frameworks and best practices for managing and maintaining master data in SAP.
    Oversee the creation, modification, and approval processes for master data to ensure data quality and integrity.
    Facilitate data migration from legacy systems into SAP MDG.

Integration & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with SAP functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, etc.) to ensure smooth integration between SAP MDG and other SAP modules.
    Collaborate with technical teams for customizations, data load processes, and system integrations.

Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Provide functional support for SAP MDG-related issues, offering solutions to resolve data-related problems or configuration issues.
    Manage and resolve end-user queries and provide training or guidance as required.


Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare detailed functional documentation, configuration guides, and user manuals for SAP MDG processes and solutions.
Assist in preparing test scripts, conducting testing, and documenting test results.


Continuous Improvement:

Recommend improvements to MDG processes and governance mechanisms to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and overall system performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and enhancements in SAP MDG and master data management.

Experience:

SAP TM Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management, including but not limited to the following specific skills:
o Order-Based and Delivery-Based Planning: Expertise in planning and executing logistics operations based on orders and deliveries.
o Freight Order and Booking Management: Experience with both manual and automated execution of freight orders and bookings, including the use of SAP’s Optimizer.
o Freight Agreements & Rate Tables: Proficient in managing freight agreements, rate tables, scales, and charges.
o Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of integration capabilities with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Materials Management, Finance (FI), and other relevant SAP components.
o Freight Settlement Process: Experience managing and optimizing the freight settlement process within SAP TM.
o 3PL/4PL Integration: Knowledge of Third-Party Logistics (3PL) and Fourth-Party Logistics (4PL) integration.
o WRICEF Contributions: Ability to manage output management and workflows, contributing to WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) items.

Key Skills:

• Transportation Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP TM functionalities, including freight management and settlement.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex logistics and transportation challenges.
• Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner, aligning them with business objectives.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a global and diverse team environment.
• Client-Facing Experience: Comfortable in client-facing roles, engaging directly with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
